Bay outlets

At ThorCast we offer two variants of the T series, one with 400 mm deep bay doors, typically used for outlets into paddocks, and another with a 600mm deep bay doors, typically used to control flows in private channels. 


We also offer the U series of bay outlets with incorporated wing walls and 600 mm deep doors.

Available in a range of sizes from 900 mm to 2400 mm wide openings.


Standard depth (400 mm)

  • T3 - 900×400 opening [very popular]
  • T4 - 1200×400 opening 
  • T6 - 1800×400 opening [very popular]
  • T8 - 2400×400 opening 


Deep (600 mm)

  • T3-D - 900×600 opening 
  • T4-D - 1200×600 opening

High strength concrete

Made with 50 MPa pure cement concrete our bay outlets are designed to last. Major benefits include reduced cracking, higher flexural strength, decreased porosity and increased robustness.

Dual reinforcement

Reinforced with both 500 MPa steel and 550 MPa recycled poly fibre our bay outlets are robust when installing and handing. Major benefits include increased strength, resistance to chipping and cracking when installing and handling.

Cast-in features

Made with hot dip galvanised cast-in ferrules (female threads) our connections are integrated into the bay outlet resulting in superior durability and no cracking from the use of hammer drills. Our cast in lifting points are rated to 1.3t SWL each and are incorporated into the reinforcement layer for maximum safety.

Rubber doors

Made with premium 2-ply nylon reinforced rubber our bay doors are designed to last.

Heavy winch and pole

Made with a reversible 600 kg winch attached to a thick hot dip galvanised pole, opening and closing is easy.

Incorporated wing walls

The U-series of bay outlets are an all-in-one unit incorporating wing walls on the sides of the opening. This greatly reduces the chances of washouts.
